The word Shaman originates from Siberia and isn’t Peruvian. Shamans are people who walk with one foot in this world and one foot in another. The spirit realm is where we go to do our work, often going as deep as past lives and deep issues from childhood or before. We are the co-creators of our realities, and believe that all beings have this power if they claim it – yes, that means you!
Not all animists are shaman, but all shaman are animists. Animism is the concept that every single thing, being, creature, rock, plant, even a chair or blanket, has a soul, has life, has breath.
It is the idea that we are all equal, that we all breathe the same air, and thus, we should care for each other as one.
The shamanism that Jaden learned and practices now originates from an indigenous tribe from the Andes Mountains of Peru known as the Q’ero. They are a graduate of Ancient Rose’s shaman school in 2020.
